Now, in July 2013, Its introducing a new product — Firefox OS — based on non-profit principles. It’s the first Web-based operating system for smartphones and it’s designed to give more people access to the Web from more places and in more ways than ever before. Built entirely using open standards, Firefox OS is free from the rules and restrictions of existing proprietary platforms.
